ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Louisiana Gastroenterology Society (LGS) is proud to partner with the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) for our annual conference in New Orleans. We’re committed to spotlighting the next generation of GI leaders and providing meaningful opportunities for trainees to present their work, gain recognition, and connect with experts in the field.
Trainees can participate in two ways:
1. Oral Case Presentations for GI Fellows
One fellow from each of the GI fellowship programs is invited to present an interesting or challenging clinical case in an oral presentation format. The case presentation itself should be no longer than 5 minutes long and allow for 10 minutes of audience engagement during the presentation totaling 15 minutes from start to finish. Selected fellows will present during the dedicated trainee session on Saturday afternoon. This is a fantastic opportunity to share compelling cases and gain feedback from a panel of GI experts as well as audience members.
2. Poster Presentations for Trainees
We welcome poster abstracts from medical students, residents, and fellows on GI topics presented as case reports, case series, and research projects.
